Protect U.S. Journalists
Support the Committee to Protect Journalists' new U.S. Journalist Rapid Response Fund providing urgent safety, medical, and legal assistance to reporters covering escalating federal operations.
As immigration enforcement actions intensify across the U.S., journalists documenting these events are facing rising threats — often without access to protective gear, safety training, or legal backup. In response, CPJ and the International Women’s Media Foundation have launched the U.S. Journalist Rapid Response Fund, debuting in Minnesota with an initial $25,000 commitment to ensure aid reaches reporters quickly.
Your gift today will help provide emergency safety equipment, trauma support, medical grants, and legal assistance so journalists can continue their critical reporting safely and without fear.
