As immigration enforcement actions intensify across the U.S., journalists documenting these events are facing rising threats — often without access to protective gear, safety training, or legal backup. In response, CPJ and the International Women’s Media Foundation have launched the U.S. Journalist Rapid Response Fund, debuting in Minnesota with an initial $25,000 commitment to ensure aid reaches reporters quickly.
